- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I was a long time regular customer at Briarwood and took my cocker spaniel there for grooming. One day I got stuck in traffic on I55 on my way to pick him up. I knew it was near closing time, so I tried to call them, but it was 5:31 and they did not answer. By the time I arrived 10 minutes late, the place was locked and deserted. I spent considerable time trying to find someone, thinking surely they have some kind of back up plan for an occasional late customer. No they do NOT! They locked up my dog overnight and charged me for TWO DAYS of boarding when I came to get him early the next morning. The manager had no sympathy, expressed no remorse. I asked why they could not call me before locking up my dog, but she said they are too busy! I also told her that the posted sign stating that customers who "leave their dogs" will be charged a boarding fee was totally inadequate but got no response to that either. Needless to say, I am looking for a groomer who recognizes the difference between picking up a dog and picking up dry cleaning.March 18, 2017by A Google User
